Elliott Landsman, founder and Chairman of Landsman Development Corp., passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2013 at the age of 93.
Elliott founded the company in 1971 and had been involved in real estate development since 1960. A native Rochesterian, he was a respected business leader in the Rochester area, and active in both civic and charitable organizations. Under his leadership, Landsman Development Corp. now owns and/or operates over 6 million square feet of real estate split between almost 3,000 units of residential properties and over 3 million square feet of industrial and commercial space.
The executives of Landsman, consisting of James A. Goff, President and Chief Executive Officer; Kimberlie M. Burkhart, Chief Financial Officer; Deborah G. Goldman, Esq., Vice President and Secretary; Kurt E. Ziemendorf, Vice President of Operations, Cathy W. Maiorano, Vice President of Housing, and Jacques A. Paquin, Chief Technology Officer, will continue to execute Elliott’s strategic vision and the day-to-day operations of the Landsman family of companies.
